The IDEA Center's one-and-a-half day, in-depth workshop is designed to train current and future clients in the appropriate use of the IDEA Student Ratings of Instruction system. The purpose of the workshop is to develop a larger constituency of on-campus expertise among faculty, administrators, and staff.

Specifically, the workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to understand IDEA well enough to use it:

• Strategically to improve student learning,
• Wisely to make personnel recommendations, and
• Effectively for curriculum review, program assessment and/or accreditation. 

The workshop will be interactive and will provide participants with practical experience in using and interpreting IDEA reports in a number of applied situations.
